Released in 2024 to commemorate 150 years since the birth of Sir Winston Churchill in 1874.
 
Coins have only been issued in Jersey and not available in general circulation in the UK.
 
The full set includes five designs depicting Churchill in the different roles he played over his long and varied life:
 
The Leader - to commemorate his inspirational leadership during WW2
The Writer - to commemorate his achievements as a Nobel Prize winning author
The Orator - to commemorate his many famous speeches
The Painter - to commemorate his later years as painter. He used art as coping mechanism for his depression and sold some of his works under a pseudonym.
The Patriarch - to commemorate his family life with his four children.
