Released in 2019 to commemorate 50 years since the first Concorde flight on 2 March 1969. Concorde was known as the first 'Supersonic Flight' because it could travel faster than the speed of sound and for almost forty years was synomynous with luxury and speed. The final flight took off in October 2003.

This three coin set includes the following designs:

  • Runway – The unmistakable outline of Concorde as it rumbles along the runway
  • Take-off – Concorde soaring into the air shortly after take-off
  • Flight – Concorde cruising at supersonic speed

*These coins have not entered general circulation in the UK*

*Only circulated in Guernsey*

Obverse: Ian Rank Broadley Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II

Reverse: Depicting the representations, as above.

This purchase is for all three coins in the set.
