This coin was released as part of the Royal Mint's 50 Years of the 50p coin collection - The Culture Set. It is a re-date of the first ever 50p New Pence from 1969 with the Britannia obverse design.  
 
One version of the coin features a privvy mark on the bottom right next to '50.'
 
This set includes both versions of the coins; privy mark and non-privy mark
