Commemorating the life and works of scientist Alan Turing who pioneered the use of aritifical intelligence and computer science. During World War Two he worked as a codebreaker at Bletchley Park famously cracking the Enigma code which was crucial to the Allied victory. 
 
This coin is the sixth and final 50p coin to feature in the Royal Mint's Innovation of Science series.
