The second year release of the Britannia £2 coin first minted in 2015. To date, this is the final year that this coin entered general circulation due to the Royal Mint placing a hiatus on the production of £2 coins due to a decrease in demand. 
 
£2 coins minted in or after 2017 will only feature as part of annual sets or Royal Mint commemative presentation packs.
